I work across the Asia-Pacific internet governance ecosystem on accessibility, platform accountability, gendered digital violence and newcomer participation — as a chapter president, as a regional representative inside ICANN's At-Large structures, and as an organiser of the programmes that bring new people into these rooms in the first place.

President — Internet Society India Mumbai Chapter
An all-women-led chapter and ICANN At-Large Structure. I took the chapter from dormancy to visible regional participation: rebuilt governance and operating infrastructure, restored its representation within APRALO, relaunched the Women in Tech Leadership series, secured community activation partner status at APNIC 62, and delivered public programming reaching participants across eighteen countries.

Leading international engagement and policy positioning for the Internet Society's global standing group on accessibility, connecting accessibility policy work to regional and multistakeholder governance processes.

What I work on inside these processes
Accessibility. Policy and international engagement on making the internet usable by disabled people, carried into regional governance forums rather than kept in technical working groups.
Gendered digital violence. Technology-facilitated abuse against women in public life in South Asia, and the platform and regulatory failures that leave it unaddressed. An APAC white paper on this is in development.
Platform accountability and trust & safety. How redress actually works — or doesn't — for users outside the jurisdictions platforms are built for.
Newcomer participation. Internet governance reproduces itself through who gets into the room. Much of my convening work exists to widen that.
